In the past five years, our students have won one first prize in the National Competition of "Challenge Cup" College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, 1 provincial special prize, 5 first prizes, and three second prizes. Won the "Challenge Cup" 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 5 provincial gold medals in the undergraduate entrepreneurship plan competition. One bronze medal in the national competition of the 3rd Internet University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, 1 silver medal in the provincial competition. Won the national safety science in colleges and universities 2 first prizes and 2 third prizes in the practice and innovation competition of engineering majors. Our men’s basketball team has won the school championship many times. In 2017, it won the school’s first league championship and represented the school to participate in the Guangdong Province college students Champion in the Champions Cup Invitational. The postgraduates published over 200 SCI papers, authorized 24 national invention patents, and obtained six outstanding postgraduates in Guangdong Province.

In the past five years, the employment rate of undergraduates and postgraduates has exceeded 95%, and the acceptance rate of undergraduates for postgraduate entrance examinations has exceeded 20%, ranking among the top of the University. So far, our school has trained more than 6000 environmental protection professionals for the society, and more than 300 graduates have started their own businesses. It is the cradle of environmental entrepreneurs. Mainly distributed in the environmental protection department of Guangdong Province, scientific research institutes, environmental monitoring, environmental protection companies and safety engineering companies. Most of the graduates have become business backbones of environmental protection departments at all levels in Guangdong Province, and some have taken up municipal and departmental leadership positions, making important contributions to the environmental protection cause of Guangdong Province.
